Hi, I'm Meghan Samsel — proud lifelong resident of the Town of Lenox, passionate advocate for our community, and candidate for Town Supervisor.

I grew up right here on Main Street in Canastota, and today, I’m raising my family in the same town that shaped who I am. My husband Heath and I are the proud parents of three daughters — Summer, Natalie, and Harper — and like so many of you, I know the value of our community — and I’m committed to helping it thrive.

In my career as a school principal and now Director of Technology, I’ve led district-based and regional initiatives that improve operations, modernize systems, and support the people we serve. I manage large budgets, build long-term financial plans, and approach every challenge with a focus on collaboration, research, and practical problem-solving.

I believe in listening, working alongside our departments and residents, and bringing a forward-thinking but practical approach to town government. I also believe in making local government more transparent, more efficient, and easier to navigate. I enjoy building relationships, asking the right questions, and doing the work to understand the issues that matter to residents. ​

I’m excited to bring my skills, passion, and dedication home to serve you. Together, we can make sure the Town of Lenox continues to be a place we are proud to call home — now and for generations to come.
